Solo Traveler
The hotel is in the heart of Georgetown and walking distance to Metro system and other attractions. The staff was excellent and the restaurant was excellent and served a great Christmas meal.

Traveling as Couple
too small and slightly outdated.
The hotel was convenient. This hotel is slightly outdated and the heating/cooling system needs update. The staff however made the stay in Washington pleasant!

Solo Traveler
Overall, it is a cute boutique meaning its got charm but this also means it needs desperate renovation that was about to go underway shortly after I left so many things like the lighting, ants, and other things were affected. The elevators are old and sometimes have trouble working, and the smells in the hall were horrible. The pool has a bad view and the suites which is supposed to be the best part of the hotel is a poor reflection of it. ...read more

Traveling as Couple
Located in the middle of Georgetown - excellent location. Very quiet and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. We will absolutely stay there again.

Solo Traveler
Latham is great for sightseeing (monuments, Capitol Mall, Georgetown etc). Not so great for families or business travelers - hotel is older and the rooms are tiny. The location makes up for it though.

Family with Young Children
Pleasant, clean, upscale hotel. Unfortunately, it was about an 8 block walk to the nearest Metro station, which wasn't bad early in the day, but after a day of walking all around DC, made for a long walk back. The hotel itself was great though! ...read more

Business Traveler
Small, boutique-style hotel, with excellent beds. Great location on M Street, near many really good restaurants. Friendly, professional staff always willing to go out of their way for their guests.

No complimentary visitor parking. There was no micro oven at every floor for common use. I looked for it and finally I found only one micro oven in the staffs eating room. It is very bad. No complimentary Internet service. I stayed many hotels. Almost every hotel has micro oven service, complementary Internet service (No charge), complimentary breakfast and complementary guest and visitor parking. Overall, the service is not bad, but I think Latham hotel can improve their service by providing the above facilities, which I have mentioned. ...read more
